Can we assume Eren also found out Historia needs no one to reproduce? '-' If he can manipulate any Eldian's body that is.
Would he be on board with that if it's less invasive than 'breeding' like cattle?I also agree with what was posted on Reddit. Eren always looked for setting Eldians free and giving them access to the world - even when he didn't know what was on about the walls and Eldia itself. He looked for better life instead of regretting having people alive. He doesn't share Zeke's core mentality and feelings. For them to be cooperating and working together, one is being manipulated. The thing is. Zeke was desperate to meet Eren at a certain point and time.
I don't think he would completely give up from that now - the whole euthanasia plan - just to kill Levi. He was just done regenerating, Levi was about to cap him again. I'm confident Zeke survived (and was aware that he would) and will regenerate next to go meet Eren. And well, alive or not, looks like Levi won't be on his way. Zeke the kid, not so scummy after all.
Gabi now seems not just a reproduction of Eren but a cross between the two brothers, a Zeke becoming an Eren. But the infectious self-loathing subtracts from Zeke's character, I was expecting something more creative than a replication of Willy Tiber (and Xavier, apparently). His whole betrayal of Marley now loses its point, he could just go along with Willy's plans of Eldian extermination. The idea of sterilizing Eldians is, nonetheless, brilliant, it is indeed a way to eliminate the titan curse, simple and relatively non-magical.
However, I originally thought that it was to prevent Eldians from reproducing only temporarily, until the nine titans are extinct. That Eren could get along with. Now it is clear that Eren's and Zeke's endgames must be different. I wonder if he went along with Zeke's plan to advance his own (what might that be?), or Zeke did not quite share all of his plan. In any case, a confrontation between them is coming.
Again a great chapter. I liked this FB more than Eren destroying Marley! So this is all about Stockholm syndrome.
And the seed of evil grew with Xaver. Yes he shouldn't have hidden his identity, but killing her child and herself for that? Marleyans are sick people. And Xaver manipulates Zeke in the same manner as Grisha, he was just more caring about the way to do it.Yes Grisha is a lousy father, even with Eren, but that doesn't justify to sell him out (and his mother, who was nice). Grisha forgot / didn't know what it is t be a child because his own childhood has been stolen so early. And god I hate people who think they just have to follow the rules to be fine, no matter how unfair the rules are (damn cattle). In this matter, Zeke is the opposite of Eren, and I would hate that Eren would follow this sterilization plan. The beast titan memories are the opposite of the attacking Titan, it's enslavement/submission versus freedom.
Eren would better eat this asshole. Some hints about the resolution of the story with the founding titan power. If you can sterilize people, why can't you simply suppress the Titan gene? The result is the same and that dosen't seem harder. I hope that's what Eren is trying to do. And for that, maybe he needs Zeke/Xaver knwoledge until he can do it.Loved the way Isayama showed us how Grisha's side is flawed when he explains how Eldians didn't do anything wrong because Ymir didn't wish to use Titan for evil purpose. Of course some Eldians used it for power struggle during history (2000 years is a long time, of cours there were some bad Eldians, look at paradise island, they were plenty of them).
I think Zeke could have sold only Grisha with how was this portrayed. Dina was nice enough to him, and once he sold them, the grandparents weren't sent to Paradis, so it wasn't plain 'you have a traitor in the family and everyone is screwed'. Like Falco and his brother: they are related to this Grice that was an eldian restorationist, so not everyone in the family was sent to Paradis. Xaver seems to have partially manipulated him at least, so that Zeke became entirely his 'adopted son', so to say. There's no way Eren has the same goal as Zeke.
Euthanizing your race is worse than living as a slave. Eren would definitely prefer to go down fighting, in any case. So why did Zeke a couple of chapters ago was thinking to himself something like 'Only you and me understand it, Eren'? Those who do not feel sorry for Zeke are themselves the sociopaths. But his end beliefs are hopelessly wrong. It does make thematic sense. He is the beast titan holder, and he thinks like cattle.
He was a very gentle soul, you can see it in his face. His parents should have spent more time with him definitely. That was the great flaw in their scheme. Lack of love has destroyed so many countless people of every age and race and religion in this world, it is easy to empathize with how Zeke became so twisted in the AoT world.Great chapter, and it looks like someone is dead.
Is it Levi or Zeke? It could honestly be either, but my bet right now is Levi. He has served his plot purpose and it would be an amazing twist. He survived the point a normal writer would kill him off.
Isayama knows how to make those sudden turns that drop the jaw to the floor. Such audacity. Or is it perhaps Zeke, having finished his flashback, we would empathize with his death here more. And Eren is not going to let him eat him. Not happening. It appears some rather desperate chapters are about to go down.It is interesting.
The Rumbling would essentially creating the world Eren always believed he lived in: one ruined and overrun by the Titans. He always hated them for trapping humanity and eating them. Now, he is essentially the Titan Lord preparing to bring about the very destruction of Mankind. I wonder if someone somewhere were to build a wall similar to Paradis to keep the Titans out.
No love for the Wii version?I do like playing the console versions once in a while since I don't have to spend as much time fixing the game as I am playing it. Sims on playstation 3.
But against those Colossal titans I guess that is impossible or next to it without Titan support.Whatever Isayama has planned to end this on anything but a bitter note, it will surprise me. I can't imagine how this can end well, unless Ymir shows up, does something to make EVERYONE Titans, wipes the world's memories, vanishes, and then everything is happy sunshine. 'Only you and me understand it, Eren' was followed by anticipating the impending invasion of Paradis. This makes me think that Zeke and Eren are in synch only on the tactical matters of preparing for that, and collecting the titans. I am not sure how Zeke imagined the details of his 'euthanasia', but, presumably, it does not involve mass slaughter, more like dying out in peace. Once the titans are collected, Eren is to serve as Zeke's mouthpiece for sterilization, and they wait for the shifters to die out. Eren will probably not cooperate on this last part, but what his counterplan is is unclear at this point.
This chapter was really really good, but in typical Isayama fashion, it ended up giving answers that only raise more questions.Zeke's masterplan was finally revealed and while I wholly disagree with his idea of condemning his entire race to a slow and peaceful death, I can understand his reasoning and empathize with him in a way. He doesn't see any way out for Eldians and has come to the conclusion that they will keep suffering so long as they live, so why not just end it all? It makes sense in a very morbid kind of way, but thankfully this longing for suicide is something the story's been firmly standing against since its early beginnings. 'If you don't fight, you can't win', 'He's already great, because he was born into this world' etc. That's what Eren's freedom is about really: the freedom to live, which Zeke's philosophy is diametrically opposed to.There are plenty of other good things to say about this chapter but I would also want to come back on a certain point that has been puzzling me ever since I finished reading the chapter.
If Zeke's endgame is euthanasia and the 50 year plan was actually a lie, doesn't that mean that he would be against the idea of Historia bearing a child before he puts his plan into motion, as said child would have the potential to undo his plan in the future thanks to their royal blood, if they ever allied themselves with a FT holder? Zeke himself doesn't have much time left but he should be well aware that as long as the royal bloodline exists there is a chance his efforts could be rendered meaningless. Which makes me wonder if this pregnancy truly happened out of a necessity to guarantee Zeke's safety after reaching Paradis, or if he is even aware of it for that matter. After all, he already had the wine that was circulated among the higher ups since the volunteers' first contact with Paradis and that he should have been able to use an insurance. It's all really fishy.
Shingeki No Kyojin 114 Discussion
Idk imo it was quite touching. Zeke's introspective point of view was another gorgeous aspect of this chapter, it revealed untold things such as his own agenda. We all knew he shared different purposes with Marley, but there were still cumbersome issues about him.I don't usually like when an author retcons continuously, that is when he reveals something huge just to modify it again some time later.
But this time it was a really well done job, and the retconning fitted perfectly.Let me explain that: through Kiyomi's flashback, we 'found out' Zeke's goal was the restoration of Eldia, and that he was forced to betray his parents because they were doomed anyway, thus paradoxically granting their wish. But too many things didn't make sense to me, even though that explanation did give a meaning to the attack in Liberio and to other hints, such as Mike's 3DMG having been taken without ever using it again.Cumbersome issues which bothered me were the following:if he really thinks so, why did he kill so many Eldians?
Shingeki No Kyojin Reddit
Was he that sure they wouldn't listen to (and perhaps even join) him? Why did he kill Mike even though that wasn't a conflict? And above all, if his goal was to make Eldians capable of keeping up with the world through the rumbling, why did he not make any son?Now we finally had the answer: he doesn't want any other Eldian to be born (and this requires an explanation for what concerns Historia, unless he plans to kill her soon 'for the sake of Eldia and his own dream').
Besides, for him, death is salvation as it frees all those lives from their suffering. It surely is a twisted and creepy ideology, but I do find it plausible to certain extents. Idk imo it was quite touching. As Levi said once, our behaviour comes from our past experiences, Xavier's methods were right because he did see Grisha and Dina as horrible parents. He was indeed suffering for Zeke, and even shed tears. He was fucked up because of his family dying, feeling himself responsible due to his eldian lineage. As for his resources, keep in mind that even Warriors are ill-treated by Marley, I doubt he could have done something to spare an organization about to wreak havoc within their nation. But you see, something I still find disturbing is that only the Taybur shitty clan could retain his titan and their title, whereas the other shifters couldn't.
How in hell did the first shifters accept such a treatment? Unless they were brainwashed by KinG Fritz, I don't find any reason, as they are the ones who rebelled against King Fritz. To me, the proper explanation would be that the Taybur gathered all the remaining titans, and then gave them to Marley later. Ah don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to say I believe Xavier gives (gave.cough.) no shits to Zeke.
He was indeed a more genuine father figure to the kid than Grisha was, and seemed to rly care about him. I get it that even the rattling on his parents was suggested out of concern, I'm just holding him responsible for the dmgs that were caused to Zeke as well. You put a 7y old in a situation where he sends his parents to death and can't expect him to come out as someone fully sane. And to say that there was no other way out is merely an assumption, we simply can't know, but it's also irrelevant when it comes to saying that Xavier also scarred Zeke with that xD So yeah, in that sense, he's another piece of shit and contributed to Zeke being broken. 'Resourceful' might have been a poor choice of word, I meant I believe there were options within his capacity. Yelena was able to pull many tricks within Marley's ranks - but then again, saying that Xavier was likely able to do it differently is also an assumption from my part ^^.
Attack on titan chapter 114shingeki no kyojin chapter 114aot chapter 114 mangaLevi vs Zekelevi destroyed zekeLevi's deathIn the chapter 114. Zeke removes the pin, blows himself up trying to titonize, while Levi was very near to him. He sent flying and then the chapter ended up, letting us all guessing and wondering what happened to Levi!!Actually there was a similar scene which Reiner titanized besides levi. Levi did his best to get away, but even so that left levi a bit damaged.
Unfortunately, now things seems to be worse with Zeke. But I don't think he got killed by this. It's more likely that he just damaged and probably won't be able to participate in any upcoming fight.
The image shows up like his right arm and left foot are cut off. I hope that's not true.進撃の巨人Levi deathdon't forget to like and subscribe.
